Return to cool



It is almost one month after Softbank took over what used to be Vodafone Japan. After what could only be described as a mediocre brand under Vodafone (David Beckham and the Ferrari handset, anyone?), Softbank has injected some much needed cool with these funky ads and of course a huge choice of equally good-looking handsets.

From last Sunday, Vodafone has disapeared from Japan as all shops were rebranded under the Softbank logo. Softbank has also started a massive promotion campaign offering a free iPod nano to all new customers purchasing a 705SH handset.
